The first time I ordered from them I was unable to get help returning the item and I gave up trying. The second time I was getting something for my mother-in-law so I decided to try again. It said 40%off so I went ahead. It took me 45 minutes to order because of pop up ads asking me to create an account or buy more merchandise. When I finally got to checkout I found that standard shipping was $18. Next time I'll skip Woman Within. By the way, the first review website that shows up if you want to review Woman Within is Consumer Affairs. It showed good reviews and it wouldn't let me create an account.
The operator admitted on the phone that the pants I ordered were described as "pure cotton" in the catalog but were actually 90% polyester/10% nylon, that it was a "misprint", but they took no responsibility. She flatly refused to give me her name or pass me to a supervisor. What a waste of time and money.

Both times I tried ordering from Woman Within I got badly made clothing, cheap fabric, terrible customer service and encountered a horrible return policy. That last, by the way--the return policy--includes a restocking fee after they've made you send back the merchandise at your own expense. And if you don't manage to do it within sixty days, their unempowered customer service reps (echoing to you over the phone from some distant land) can only utter impotent, insincere and agonizingly drawn out "apologies"--no solutions.
How hard would it be to let me speak to someone who actually could consider helping me with my problem? I did spend sixty dollars at their sham of a company. I would've thought it would be in their interest to resolve the issue with me rather than loose another deeply dissatisfied and downright angry customer into the world. Thanks to their negligence, they have another former customer who gets pissed every time they hear the name of the company or look at the useless items they wasted money on. Thanks to their unwillingness to work out a small return issue they've pushed another woman passed the point of "mildly unsatisfied" into "motivated to warn everyone what a $#*!show is Woman Within."

Why is it that I pay $50 for a vest and it doesn't fit, so when I try and return it to order a smaller size they want to refund me HALF of what I originally paid? Is that a joke? I drove 60 miles round trip to their "RETURN BAR" at Ulta Beauty. They STILL charged me another10.00 convenience fee to get my money back. Hmmmm bought 28.00 worth of items, which did not fit and poorly made. Paid 10.80 to ship. Returned to their shipping location and then hit with another 10.00 fee. What a rip off!

I ordered a woman's coat in my size and received a mens shirt size 5X. I promptly returned the shirt and requested a refund because the item I wanted was no longer available. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I work from home and I don't have a car. So it's no surprise that my shopping is done online. This order was requested by my MIL so I ordered this for her. Item said delivered but never came. I said you know what sometimes that happens and gave them 2 more days. When I reported to the company, Woman Within, j was told to request a refund/replacement I had to fill out an affidavit and mail it back. I thought that was weird but you know it probably weeds out the scammers because they wouldn't put in the work. Fine I'll fill it out and requested a copy be sent to me as I don't have access to a printer. Was quoted 7-10 business days to receive it, again it never came. Now my mailbox is locked and xan only be accessed by a key. I gave additional time again because I don't want to be a nag. I reached out AGAIN and was told we'll send another but you should just print it off. I repeatedly said i dont have access. They don't care. Another 7-10 business days. And they have a 60day policy. I spoke with 3 reps, another 1 on chat, then Susan then Ginger a "specialist". I was told that I better get the affidavit in before the 60 days or else they won't do anything. All of there request methods require physical mail there are no upload or email features. No alternatives. They refuse to express mail the affidavit. Basically it's my fault that I don't have a printer and I'm SOL. This is a scam company and I hope no one who reads this, is subject to this unprofessional company. So in the end I'm out $85, no coat, no affidavit, no service. Do not order from here.

Still have not received my refund of $89.97 yet they received my return on 6/14/2021. I tried to call again today and it said my wait time was 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and no one answered. What a sham this company is! Marcia Stone (CEO) should be ashamed of herself!

I have only ordered from this company once but had no issues. They are owned by the same company as roamans but the clothing is not quite as "quality" as roamans. Thats not to say they are no good just of lesser quality. Thinner material etc. Also... their sizes are just a little off. What i normally get at roamans i have to get a size larger at woman within for the same fit. I had no issues with either exchange or return and i did both with my order. I would use the site again.
Ordered black boots, received a white shirt. They say I have to ship it back and be charged a second charge and the first will be reversed after they get the white shirt. Paid $72.66 and received a $2 tee shirt! The sticker on the shirt clearly says blk bootie size 9WW.

Normally their packages come tightly sealed. This last order was ripped open and then packing tape shut very minimally. An item was missing and when I called to advise and wanting my item, Their agent:Shy" would only refund my price, even though I wanted the item. I had to really yell to get her to transfer me to a Supervisor, Jerry, who was not to much help either. I ordered the item in a 28 and they no longer had the color I ordered in a 28 but many others in a 28 but at a higher price. Instead of taking care of their customer and offer me the correct size in not the color I wanted but the next cheapest color. If I want the item I have to settle for a size 24, Which I will try but not to hopeful that it will really fit. Hope their sizes are way off. But they certainly do not care about their customer, when someone in their order process had to rip my package open and remove the item and then do a half $#*! tape job and ship it out. I returned an item and was issued a gift card. When I placed an order using that gift card and my credit card for the remaining balance I was charged the entire amount to my credit card. They now say that they cannot correct it because the item has already been processed and that I will need to place another order to use the gift card. Marginal quality - The prints may lure you in, but the sewing is on the lower end of expertise. Fabric in my experience has been mismatched. One example is a pair of shorts I bought, where one side faded faster than the other side. Or a shirt where one arm was tighter than the other.
Slowest shipping possible - 3 weeks for std shipping. Seriously, it's faster getting things from a foreign country.
+/- 25% added on for shipping - They do not offer free shipping at all, regardless of how much you spend. If you spend $20 they will charge $7. If you spend $200 they will charge you $25.
This company is an old dinosaur. Surely, there are better places for mature women to get their clothing.

The first lounge dress I got bleed out green dye when washing in hot water 15 times with a dye remover. I still have green dye on body after at least 30 washes. They did not respond to my comments on the dye.
This last shipment had seven huge and heavy catalogs. By i closing those catalogs I'm paying for the cost of them. This is just wrong!
I was on hold for 2 hours not allowing me to use my Customer Promo code or my reward promo. They deleted my order and than did not go back to my original order making sure it was correct. When I asked for a supervisor I was told they were on the phone. I was the. Transferred to customer service and I'm still holding. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Still

This is on me because I went through a similar experience with them in 2021, but I decided to try again. I chose express shipping for 3 - 5 business days and paid extra. The order history online is not saved and the email confirmation does not indicate that you paid for such. The customer service reps will not transfer you to a supervisor and when you do get a supervisor, they are a complete joke. They try to make you think that you selected standard shipping when you're absolutely certain you chose express. In 2021, I never received the item nor did I receive a credit for the express shipping. They refused to take the charge off of my woman within credit card and refund the express shipping charge. I am dealing with the same exact thing now. Items were said to have been shipped 10/2 and was supposed to be here by 10/7... it's showing that the items are sitting in a FedEx facility pending. FedEx ground does not even take that long. I strongly advise not to patronize Woman Within, they are a complete sham, the clothing over the past few years have been made cheap, orders take months to be delivered (oftentimes the wrong size, item, and/or color), and they absolutely bait and switch with shipping.

I spent 179.00 on four items, two of the items did not fit, I sent them back on 5/24/21 now it is 6/24 and no refund, they are quick to take money but not return it. It took forever to get anyone on the phone and I could barely understand them, I told them I wanted my money back now as they have had my return since 6/7 and she tried to say they were slow because of covid... BS. I told her I just ordered an item that came from China and got it in one week. She said she will refund my money now and it will take 7-10 days to show up.
