TJ Maxx is my go to for finding cute things for my home, gifts, cute clothing…. You name it! I found a cute top and needed to try smaller sizes, asked for help so I wasn't searching all day and Emma was quick at giving me the two sizes smaller, I bought that too! Stephanie was such a big help with jewelry and found a cute ring and Ashley at the checkout was so friendly! I love my Plover, WI store, the great finds there and the awesome staff!
Purchased some bed pillows the person I purchased then for did not want them. Tried to return them, and rude customer rep at cashier stated "no,cant return them, purchased and it states as is on the pillows." I purchased two that were supposed to be Platinum, however they were not they stated silver on the tags. I spent $145.00 at TJ Maxx in the Longview, TX store, and I will never go back to that store. I have purchased the last I will ever buy at T J Maxx. I hope HomeGoods puts TJ Maxx out of business!

I tried to retire these chocolate covered cherries and they wouldn't give me my money back they tasted old, disgusting, and stale. If you ever want to buy something at tj maxx make sure you really want it it is very strict about there return policy and I suggest not going there and the lady's at the front are rude and sassy. They should give you your money back if you have a problem with it and they are bad with that.
Bought a sweater hand washed it dried it and it shrunk and is falling apart. My receipt clearly shows i just bought it and they won't return because it has been worn. I Therefore will not be buying clothes here again. The customer service lady was also rude saying she buys clothes there all the time and never has a problem and proceeds to tell me I'm rude. Horrible service.
I ordered 10 items online and was so excited to getting my new purses, clothes and candles...then I received the email today that all my items are canceled without any reason. So disappointed.
My wife adores this store for its wide range of different clothes and shoes. I completely agree with her. You're always able to find interesting clothes in this shop.
I was at TJ Maxx today doing my Christmas shopping and I was going up to the cash register and I received this woman named Tracy she didn't say hi she didn't say hello or How are you? She just rung up my items and put them in the bag and didn't even say have a good day.she had her AirPods in. She was on the phone with somebody else so she didn't really acknowledge me at all, she was just very rude and made me feel invisible
Lesson learned, once you believe you have selected all items they can still vanish and you have no way to modify order, neither cancel it to re place it, you have to pay shipping again to add a matching clothing piece. The chat is worthless they have no way to find available items at stores. Very far from good cust service. I was just told to drive to each store to find it.

Whenever I go to TJMax the line is always about 15 minutes long. They have 6 cash registers and about 2/3 of them working. They're able to have a lady dealing out shopping carts and one monitoring who comes in and out of the store but they can't have they're lines move a little faster. I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic but it's always been like this and it's not getting better. I hope this changes because I love coming to this store but it makes me sick to think about it.
When covid hit, I decided to get a TJMAX credit card. Everything was great until a few months ago. I've had to return the last eight things I bought. I purchased five clothing items and they were all too big. Then I ordered two sheet sets and they sent duvet covers. Today I received a Sand and Fog candle which I really liked, and it was broken due to extremely bad shipping and packaging. It was bubble wrapped and sent in a huge box with almost no other packaging around it. The box was not even marked as FRAGILE as it clearly should have been. Then there's the inconvenience of having to drive to the only FEDEX return bin on the other side of town, which is so small I can barely get the box in it. I'm so disgusted with them I think I'll cut up my credit card and send it back to them too.
Terrific looks at discount prices. Surpasses many other Clothing Depts.
Give it a looksee! You won't be disappointed. I love my designer labels at a very reasonable cost.

Is not the responsibility of the employees checking you out to make sure their is a tag on the item in case of a need for a return. However they do manage to ring you up without a tag. Employee 1007 store*******

I ordered a squishmallow on 3/9. Two days ago, I was informed that my order has been cancelled and wasn't given a reason why. I am hesitant to order from TJ Maxx online again, especially since this seems to be a common occurrence for this store. I am disappointed because I was looking forward to receive my product. Additionally, I used a free shipping code for this purchase, and now this code is invalid, even though my order was cancelled.
I purshased 10 bags online and I received them in bad condition. I'm so disappointed and cannot return

I've had plenty of Visa cards different places. This is by far THE WORST! Do not do it! The card is terrible. The app is terrible. If I could do negative stars I would.
I find it absolutely ridiculous for a company to take anything over 5 business days to ship an online order. Unless you're making the item from scratch. I placed my order 10 business days ago and nothing. No cancellation. Just a sitting order. If macys can ship my order in 5 hours you sure as heck can get your processing together and ship faster. If you can't get your stuff together then stop trying to get into e-commerce. Never purchasing online again. I recommend you don't either cause who knows if and when I'll ever get my order. Maybe T.J.maxx.com is operating as a drop shipper. Whatever the case, annoying.

I tried shopping recently in a local TJ Maxx and I was surprised that all of their prices have gone dramatically UP! Plus, the store is poorly lit due to them changing the lighting to a darker atmosphere. Housewares were very cluttery and the cosmetics and face department went very downhill by them adding various unknown type marketers and brands of facial products nobody heard of. Very cluttered and severly overpriced makeup, hair and face products. Poor brands of products, (home based internet) brands of facial products. Very unsuitable for a store to be offering the public. This store had it together a decade ago and now they DO NOT!

What has happened to this store? TJ Maxx used to have fine quality clothes and accessories, many of which were made in Italy. Now everything is cheap, synthetic material. The styles are also not pretty. Whoever the buyers are for the store they do not have good taste. The clothes and accessories made in Italy are gaudy, status symbols. TJ is no longer the store for refinded taste. Such a disappointment. Please bring back the old quality.
I love shopping at T. J. Maxx stores. They have lovely surprises every where from clothing to bedding to wall decor. I could spend hours in there and keep finding things I missed. I especially like the name brands that I don't pay name brand prices for. Marshall's for instance, shoes and clothes to die for but get there early the cute stuff goes fast.
I recently order a quilt and immediately realized that I ordered the wrong color. I went back to see if I could cancel the order and I could not. I called customer service but nothing they could or would do about it. She told me to wait until I received and then return it. That's great except that I am out the $9.99 shipping and handling plus I have to wait 5 to 10 days to receive the item in order for me to return it. I will never order again from TJ Maxx, not worth the aggravation.

Very liberal store but pays their employees $9 an hour still. Why? I thought they loved raising wages and giving people more pay? They asked if I wanted full time and I said no it's not worth it with how much I get paid. I'd rather work part time instead of slaving my week away for pennies. Tj Maxx do better & raise your wages! Liberal until it's your own money!
TJ Maxx at Colesville Rd Silver Spring is the worst store you can visit. Bad customer services, you ask for help and they see you with bad actitud.
This site takes a lot longer to ship than normal sites. I do not know why they are slow. There's a chance they could also cancel your order because their inventory status is not usually up to date.
