Bought a pair of pants and on the screen by the register it said free hemming when you buy pants. I go and get them measured and I am charged $24. I ask why and was told hemming isn't free for clothes that are on sale. YHGTBFKM? NO other place that I am aware of does this. Normstram used to be the best customer service and now this? I will never shop at Nordstram again.
I used to be a Nordstrom loyal customer but definitely Not Anymore. 4 months ago I returned 3 gowns and even though the tracking number proves they have received it they refuse to pay for my refund and saying "they can't validate the contents of the package that was delivered" which is such an absurd excuse. If you want to continue shopping from them you should know there is no guarantee they give your money back after your returns. They don't deserve a single star
I ordered a swimsuit for my daughter and was sent an ugly adult sweatshirt instead. I called and an exchange was done. The replacement was once again the same ugly sweatshirt. My daughter has no swimsuit but I have 2 extra trips to a busy USPS store to return the item I never ordered in hopes of recovering some of my money.

Order clothes and shoes online. Never received the order but our card was promptly charged. In the beginning they said let's look into it. Repeated the same excuse for a while so I waited. Life got busy and I called again after few weeks and they said, oops it's over 30 days now so no refund. It's not the old Nordstrom any more. Be careful ordering from them!
Used Nordstrom alterations for jeans bought there. Nordstrom lost the jeans--they were put on a return rack. After trips to the store, numerous phone calls and texts with 6 different people, most with pathetic resolution attempts that I would not accept (they actually offered to refund my platinum member "free" alterations). Finally the jeans were found--so yet another trip to the store for alterations... Service-recovery for my time (about 10 hours), hassle, and frustration absolutely lacking. Service experience is a huge fail Nordstrom.
I got hired as a seasonal worker and management treats you terribly. I've been verbally and mentally abused since starting by my superior and their superior has decided that I'm the one to blame because I'm "not helping the customers out properly" (despite making lots of sales). No consequences for my superior's actions. Nordstrom claims it is an ethical and customer forward company, but that is not the case (both from the perspective of an employee and customer). Very disappointed in Nordstrom and I hope to not work at this company in the future.

I purchased a Christmas gift for my wife through their website. When I purchased it the item came off being listed on the website as if I had bought it. Received an email today saying that they made a mistake and never had the item in stock in the first place. Life goes on, the wife will understand she's getting something else a little later instead, not the end of the world I know.
Just out of interests sake though I checked the website after getting the email and they have again listed the item they "never had" as available. I'd think a lot of their online stock doesn't actually exist in physical inventory based off my sole experience with them. At least I got my money back which is better than a lot of reviews here.
Also as you read the positive reviews notice how strangely generic and similar they all are and ask yourself if those are real as well.
I have shopped at Nordstrom for a long time but lately I have been disappointed with not only their inventory (lack of) but also their declining customer service. It seems to take much longer these days for deliveries to arrive - like up to 3 weeks. Their online service is failing me as well. Their interface now requires a separate log in to print a return label and their online support is all but invisible at times. I cannot recommend nordstrom as a high end shop anymore.
I always check Norstrom first when I'm making an online purchase. Free shipping both ways. Easy to access return label and return at post office. Can get customer service on line reasonably quickly. Just wish they wouldn't use Lasership as a courier. Almost too much selection! Items sell out quickly, don't wait for a sale unless it's shoes. They have narrow width shoes!

All went perfect. Everything looked in person as it did on the website. Everything from selecting, purchasing, and shipping went perfect.
My item was lost and I still haven't received a refund. We have called over 3 times and we still haven't got a refund nor the items lost. As a customer I will never revisiting this company's product nor do I think this company is trustworthy anymore.

Very pleased with the customer service & products I received. My order was filled in the timeline given, which I considered a fast turn-around time.
To start, I bought a 99$ cardigan online. Although expensive, most reviews on their website were positive. Once I got the item, I realized this was an overpriced, poor quality item, shedding lint like crazy, with no care instructions! Like, who sells garments with no tag for care instructions!? Maybe because it's terrible.or maybe some never wash their cardigans? Anyway, I tried to post a review of it on THEIR website, and was denied. I tried at least 50 times, and got different 'error' messages. I think they do not accept reviews under 3*. I read that the brand of this cardigan (Zella) is actually a Nordstrom brand. That makes sense. Will never buy from them again.

Very poor service given to me by Van - the shoe department and Mo - manager in charge on 01/22 in Old Orchard, Skokie, Illinois. Both were rude and implying that I had damaged my boots mechanically.
I've purchased a pair of Tory Burch boots- total of almost 500 $ on September 27th 2022, 3 months ago; I've noticed about a month ago that lining of the heels started peeling off and a plastic base started to show. I would expect better quality from boots like that and was hoping for an exchange! Both associates- as stated above- implied, that I had damaged the boots mechanically! With normal, not every day use! Poor quality product and poor quality service! I definitely do not recommend either!

OMG I placed an order, it will be a week tomorrow & it still hasn't shipped. I talked to Customer Service asking why this order hasn't shipped. She could not give me a definitive response. She told me it's shipping from Riverside, CA 20 miles from my delivery address. This order should have shipped 3 days after the order was placed. Very disappointed in how Nordstrom ships orders. This is the 2nd time I've had delayed shipping. My best advice just to one of their stores so you won't experience the headache I'm having about this order. Nordstrom's need to hire a more suitable Logistics Department & Manager.

First, the bag comes without dust bag and just rolling in the box with a plastic bag. Like how I wrap my cat poop. Second, the printed gift message was not in or on the box, which I did requested. Third, the bag has a stained spot on the card pocket just right between Marc and jacobs. The protection sheet was obviously pulled off and laid in the bag. Forth, the back of the bag has a light blue dot and a scratch. Apparently they sent me a sample and charged me full price. It is so frustrating and humiliating.

Affordable, convenient, friendly customer service! We got our second uniform order and we were really glad we chose this store. If you are a small, medium or large corporation, this is your one stop for all your clothes and gifts for your employee and client.
I purchased an expensive bag for my wife. Unfortunately, it never made it to me. UPS states that it was delivered. He delivered a JC Penny bag and used my tracking number to say it was delivered. This is all on camera. I called Nordstrom and complained in hopes they contact UPS and find my bag. Nope, instead they send me an email that they are not refunding me. Can you imagine, $1500 dollar bag... Nordstrom did not put insurance on it? Hard to believe. No one wants to track or do their due diligence. Now, this is my headache. I guess, I have to hire an attorney. Just horrible service.
I have $50 Nordy club credit that the online service would not honor. Why? No one could not tell me. The don't have an address on the web to write and their customer service was totally unhelpful. I stayed on hold for 49 minute after being placed on hold. I called from another phone and pending was that long.
I have bought a fair number of designer handbags and sunglasses from Nordstrom. In all cases (depending on designer) the handbags were marked inside by the designer, where the item was made, usually a serial number and often a certificate of authenticity. This is especially true of the couture items i. E. Prada, Yves St. Laurent, etc. I have never questioned an items authenticity that I purchased from Nordstroms. They are way too big to risk their rep on fakes.
