This is one of my top choices for purchasing computer components and accessories online. They offer an excellent selection of all the things you need to build your very first computer or are just looking to upgrade some parts. I would say it is a computer builder's paradise. The website is very modern looking, laid out very well and looks sharp. It is really easy to find what you are looking for either using their search feature or their drop down products menu. They always have great deals and promotions running on all sorts of parts and accessories. If you know how to build your own computer, this is a great place to save money on the individual parts that are necessary. I have purchased a lot of computer components and accessories from over the years. They do also offer many other products, like electronics, automotive products, video/PC games-related items and entertainment furniture. But they are most well known for their computer-related products. There are third party sellers on their website, like those you see on Amazon, so if that is something you are interested in, it is available. I haven't purchase a whole lot from third party seller there, but have had no problems when I have. Just like on Amazon or eBay, I guess your experiences will be a hit or miss sometimes. Unfortunately, that is just the nature of the beast. All in all, I have generally had very good experiences with them and highly recommend them to anyone.

The 1 compulsory star is 1 too many. 4 years after having bought a 5-year-warranty data-storage card from them, I found it failed and asked them for remedy. Since they didn't reply, I complained through BBB. Newegg remained silent. After BBB closed the case, I looked Newegg up (stupidly too late) to find them rated "F" with BBB. Don't make my mistake yourself! Buy elsewhere!
I purchased a desktop computer during a cyber week sale and when I received it, it was had a bad gpu. I sent it in to be replaced or repaired. They decide to refund me instead without contacting me first. This ruined any chance for me to get the cyber week sales from any company for an entire year. If I knew ahead of time or if they checked to make sure the computer worked before they sold it, I could have easily bought another pc from them or a different store to take advantage of the year end sales, but what they did ruined this. I feel cheated.
I just purchased a $670 gpu on Black Friday. The website indicated it was in stock. After I made the purchase they held my funds and said it wasn't in stock. Now I don't even have the option to purchase another since my bank account has the funds on hold. Now I miss out on a once a year timeframe of deals. They did not offer me any options of replacement cards, or anything. Just wait. SO FRUSTRATING.
I ordered a treadmill. It came with the hardware but the holes were not drilled for parts at all. They said I could return it and will give me a label. I send it to fed ex and they say this is no such label. Reach back to them and they say they will refund me half the money if I can keep the treadmill. Umm what? Then said we will offer you $30 that's it. Ummm worst place ever. They said they don't want to be without the money.
I bought a gaming PC because it was a good deal on their website, but after my experience here I will never buy another PC online again.
The one they sent me won't even power on, and now they are sold out of replacements for at least 2-3 weeks and with return shipping and replacement shipping, the whole process would take a MONTH from order to getting a computer that actually works.
I could return it and never do business with them again, but of course now the Cyber Monday deals are over so I won't find a comparable deal to what I got.
This left a very bad taste in my mouth and next time I need a PC, I'm just going to the Best Buy across the street from my house instead of wasting time with this online shop.
I discovered Newegg just offers a site for actual sellers to offer their products. Perhaps they do ofer their own products but who knows. Their customer service is pathetic and they do not offer assistance with items purchased through their service. Please be aware...
I purchased a computer from them only to discover it is actually is sold by a Chinese company in Hong Kong. DHL was the shipper. After an extended shipping period, DHL advised they were unable to deliver the product due to "weather related traffic delays." Fortunantly I had been sent a link to a real time map of the DHL delivery progress. They made a delivery in a town about halfway between Houston, Texas and my home then turned around and returned to Houston making deliveries along the way. There was no inclement weather nor traffic issues anywhere in the area. Now, Newegg has washed their hands, The Chinese company is clueless and DHL just says it's "on a truck for delivery or in the warehouse." Pathetic.

One of the worst experience ever. They accepted my order of Oculus which I bought for my son's Christmas gift. They never shipped the order and never explained what happened. Finally they refunded me after many days and I lots the original deal due to them. Their App, chat feature and phone Customer service, all are terrible from user experience perspective. I wouldn't rely ever on this website to ever order anything something important.

I have ordered all of my computer stuff from here over the past 15 years, but recently it seems that they are having othere sellers on their sight, I ordered some headphones, they were sent to another address, I went on newegg to find the seller and now they are no longer a seller on newegg, this was just a horrible experience and I wouldn't buy anything from them again unless it's coming directly from newegg and not a 3rd party.

This is a great place to get your technology from. You need to watch it as they'll slip in some old technology into built products. Returns are easy and generally not questioned unless you do something stupid like break it. Prices are average and decent. Products ships quickly. Would recommend with a bit of caution.
I received a cyberpower PC. I am very pleased with the product, the computer runs very well and is actually in very high percentile's in all the benchmarks that I run. However, new egg has not been good to work with. They delayed my shipment, and with all the problems they've been having, I just thought I'd make a review.
NewEgg should be more careful with their organization. I can only speak for delayed shipping, but that's probably just the tip of the iceberg.
I've ordered the video card which cost me $725 including shipping. Eight days later I've received a notification from FedEx that the card was delivered. Not so. No card anywhere to be found.
I've contacted Newegg and started a claim. I've received a response that the seller provided "proof" with a POD FedEx order that the card was delivered. So I was instructed to contact FedEx.
The automated phone service from FedEx almost drove me insane but after 3 call attempts and 30 minutes later I finally had a Supervisor on the line who spoke English. FedEx filed a claim. Next day, the FedEx delivery guy showed up, telling me he remembered he delivered in "this neighborhood" shrugging his shoulders. As for myself;: Nothing. No card, no money.
Newegg pointed to the seller. The seller pointed to FedEx. FedEx said the package was delivered. Everyone claimed: "Not our responsibility" - One week after ordering the card I was out $725 and no merchandise.
Next, I filed a claim with Paypal asking for my money back. Newegg provided the "fake proof" POD from FedEx to PayPal, claiming the card was delivered.
I showed that signature was required on this delivery, but that was brushed under the table with a note from Newegg stating: "Additionally, we will pass on that information to our seller as they should have required a signature for the package." …. Saying in a friendly way basically: "but nothing we can do...".
Two days later, the card was suddenly in front of my door step. A kind and honest neighbor brought it by, after it was delivered to the wrong address. In summary; FedEx lied. They did NOT deliver the video card to my home. The Vendor hid behind a "fake delivery confirmation" from FedEx and Newegg shrugged their shoulders, basically claiming "Nothing we can do."
SUMMARY: No one gives a crap for you as a customer. As long as they have your money all is well. Newegg, their vendors and FedEx will blame you for the missing merchandice. In one of the correspondence Newegg suggested that is was probably stolen, so guess what? They suggested that I file a police report. If I didn't have honest neighbors, I'd be out the money with nothing to show, except the runaround, chasing after my lost money.
So you think this story is over… well, now my $425 motherboard I've ordered from Newegg is not delivered, which I've paid for two weeks ago…. I filed a claim with Newegg…I am not a mind reader, but I have a good guess what happens next...
I have spent a truckload of money over the years with Newegg. I had a bad experience last year, but thought I give them another try – BIG MISTAKE on my part.
I finally got my order after a month of waiting. I ordered memory for an older laptop. They apparently sent me what they felt like sending me instead of the CORRECT PARTS! I will never do business with these clowns again and suggest you take heed and go somewhere else for your purchases. The parts I ordered from THEIR SITE were the parts listed as "Crucial" The parts they decided to send me were Samsung and they were completely wrong. Wrong physical size, wrong pins, wrong memory. WRONG WRONG WRONG! They didn't even try! After waiting an entire month. Of course you cannot call them and I have contacted them twice through their website but I they have not responded! These people SUCK!

I did it again, I made the mistake of ordering something from a company that has terrible reviews. Many years ago I did business with Newegg so I thought I would try it again. I purchased 2 sticks of cheap memory back on December 12 2022. Delivery was slated for December 20th to January 9. I thought certainly it would not take till Jan 9 to get it but I still have not gotten it yet and it is Jan 4. I didn't read the reviews... MY FAULT! They are mostly terrible reviews regarding late on no deliveries at all, broken parts or the wrong parts. I will certainly remember to NEVER do business with Newegg in the future. I checked Amazon but the parts were a few dollars more. A few bucks more is worth it if you get the part in a matter of a couple of days and not a friggin month! So here is my message to Newegg: GO SUCK AN EGG!

I ordered a camera security system. The order hadn't shipped for almost a week so I called them. They said the order was lost and they would cancel the order. I reordered the same item. Then I get an email stating that the cancellation was voided because the item had been delivered. Amazing since it hadn't shipped yet!
We now have 2 orders and they won't cancel the 2nd order and move on by shipping that order also. That order is never delivered and UPS returns it to it's origin and receives a signed confirmation. Newegg doesn't initiate a refund until I call later to find why. Now 10 more days later, no refund and receive an email saying I need to request a return shipping ticket.
They are comparable with trying to make sense with a door knob. This forces me to dispute the charges with the credit card company. The number of emails, phone calls, and all the time involved with this mess makes purchasing anywhere else a bargain.

Extremely shady company to stay away from. I had placed a laptop order, while I'm traveling out of state and staying in a resort for a month, recovering from injury. They cancelled my order without even sending me any notification. When I called them to ask what happened they were abusive, hateful (because of my ethnic origin - I live in the US for 30 years, but this makes them treat you as a 2nd class person) implied I was a fraud and told me right away that my "account" was blocked. I never opened any "account" with them and tried to buy laptop as using guest option, like I always do with BestBuy or ebay. The woman in Newegg customer service was nasty from the first words implying I was some kind of criminal because I ordered to resort address and didn't think there was anything wrong with them never sending me a notification of order cancellation, while I waited for delivery wasting my precious time. They acted so shady as if they operate in the criminal world, and I do not trust they sell truly new hardware now, too shady company. I had bought the same laptop for the same price on ebay without any issues, using it right now and got a 2nd laptop deal from popular big box brick-and-mortar reltaler online, both delivered very fast and without a problem, to the same address where I'm staying. At least with reputable honest company and highly rated ebay seller I know what I'm dealing with upfront and can trust them. Newegg behavior would not be tolerated in the normal business world, I'm looking into involving the government to penalize them now.

I purchased a Black Friday Sale MSI Rtx 3080 12gb from them and my purchase went through. I'd been waiting months for prices to come down enough to buy a new GPU (for my work computer). They emailed me the next day to tell me "While our website may have indicated an in-stock status, one or more items in your order were not in stock at the time your order was to be fulfilled", by which time it was also out of stock everywhere else; I had no choice but to purchase an inferior Zotac 10GB model for the same price on Amazon. If you must buy something from them, make sure to call and find out if someone can get eyes on the product. Super disappointed, likely just stick to Amazon from now on.
I bought a computer battery through Newegg, the item was defective when I received it. I tried to get a replacement or a refund. Newegg, did not help and will not help you. They got your money and too bad for you.

I ordered a lenovo laptop battery. What I received was an inferior product. The picture shows Lenovo though. I sent it back and a month later still no refund. I have contacted the company more than once, but they don't respond back. It was a $96.00 item, so very unhappy with company. Buyer beware.

I heard about Newegg and thought to try it out. The only positive thing I can say is that my monitor arrived in 4 days and my tower in 5. Was all excited to set up my gaming system to find out that the tower wouldn't come on. Had my sons over looking at it and finally after 3 crazy hours realized that it wasn't even wired correctly. I think if you're going to pay these prices, at least make sure you have your people wire them correctly. Makes on very skeptical of reordering anything!
The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
Amazon is much better, more reliable and customer friendly, especially if you are an international buyer (live outside U. S)

NO. I wouldn't trust them with a purchase of that magnitude. Especially if you are using the free shipping which why not right its free? Well they use OnTrac. Yeah... a quick search showed this is a VERY bad delivery service that amazon dumped because they didn't want this company tarnishing their rating. Newegg clearly saw it as a way to cut corners.
