Today I've got impressed with a kind support *******@JethroVerified at Freelancer Verified Staff. He did kindly guide me to join the Verified Freelancer membership, and volunteered to solve my issue as well. At the moment I'm getting limited by the Verification Center for my slippery of mind with VPN mistake. With his warm support I would be able to get healthy back with my account. I really admire him for his elegant support manner. Thanks.
Them first deducted the amount from the card and a person message to give about 100(I'm not sure the amount) dollars to upgrade the account,I have overall experience that freelancers like me are not earning but freelancer app developer are earning by charging the verification or tick mark of your account as Upwork and fiver gave you the same and better facility free of cost! I'm deleting this app! And posting my worst experience with it on LinkedIn
I get support from customer service on profile issues and it's actually not a big deal for me, but maybe this becomes a serious topic if wrong over the actions. But thanks to the services of Miss / Madam Lauren, it was all done in just a few minutes. I am truly grateful to him for successfully overcoming this problem and she was very rational and smart in choosing the right course of action for the problem I was facing.
Once again thank you miss/madame Lauren and freelancer team.

Freelancer places importance on the verification process to ensure all freelance assignments are completed by verified freelancers on this platform. I think this points to a platform where integrity is key and clients feel confident and comfortable in placing their projects for professional freelancers to work on. Thank you Chelsea for your professionalism and integrity, it is much appreciated.
I wrote several times to find out an explanation of the credit and debits for currency conversions under my transaction history. I kept getting an explanation of the conversion and how it fluctuates, but all I wanted to know is if I would lose money by bidding on foreign jobs. Finally, I had someone answer my simple question - Addison - to whom I am grateful. I wish there was a customer service number so I could have avoided back and forth emails for a week now.
I have used Freelancer for many years. Unfortunately, it has become harder to find good programmers at decent prices. Also freelancer closes many accounts far too fast and before you know it some you hire is dropped off and account discontinued. It has happened twice and both times has led to a loss of several months of work and in one case I lost a fair bit of money. Still you can find good programmers, just takes longer and you have to look or pay more to get good ones.
I have to say that "Freelancer" is truly a people-centered freelance-platform. I had a small card-authentication issue and therefore had to reach out to the support team. My issue was resolved quickly, carefully, professionally and most of all, empathetically. I noticed that the support team guys really work together as a team and were quick to discern, understand and help me accordingly. I was truly delighted!
Freelancer is an easy-to-use platform; even their help articles are short and straight to the point. When you meet their support team, you'll love how they are fast on dealing with whatever problems you're facing. They will make sure everything is sorted out to your satisfaction and direct you accordingly when necessary. Customer support is usually a challenge for many businesses but Freelancer seems to have a formula for rocking it. Overall great experience.
I recently had an issue with a deposit refund and reached out to the Freelancer Support Team for assistance. I was impressed with the prompt and professional service I received from the team. They were able to resolve my issue quickly and kept me updated throughout the process. The support team member, Lyndon S., was particularly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I am very pleased with my experience and would highly recommend Freelancer to anyone in need of a reliable platform for freelance work.
Recommand project in Recent Updates is a pretty awesome feature, but why keep push 'php' keyword project to me, that I don't have any information talk about php, that may almost 90% recomanded projects not match to me.
And in Proposals, in my opinion, that should have more tags or recent status to show difference.
May a filter for client will be better, or it seems all the same in so much proposals if you don't look at the Description.
Even you do, the description seem so long and personal, not good for quick browse.
The interview process was so friendly and the Freelancer person was very polite and cooperative. She is very professional person.
While verifying, Kelvin actually made the process comfortable and professional at the same time, I will recommend freelancer to give him a raise for it, as he helped clarify concerns I had, and also asked relevant questions regarding to my verification.
Thanks Kelvin R.
I've started working part-time at Freelancer.com one year ago, it has been a great experience. Plenty of projects for people from any background. I've met with some excellent clients. I've worked with mainly Python, React stacks. Any issue was resolved by the support team as fast as possible. Overall it's a great journey.
I'm glad i found the opportunity to work as a Freelancer back in 2014. I was bankrupted with my local business and nothing left to do. But Freelancer.com was a light and it helped me to restore my financial status. Now I'm a full-time freelancer with multiple skills. It really gave me clarity while setting up my career-path & goals. I seek my lifetime career with them. They have insight and providing a best marketplace experience to millions.

I joined Freelancer years ago but only now started to try and get some work done, unfortunately, the only interaction that I got was rather fishy (the client insisted that I contact her on Telegram). I tried asking the customer service for clarification and Judith replied very well. She confirmed that it was a scam method, immediately took action and shared various resources for me to read about. Thank you Judith!
I had issues with developer in freelancer, I had sent money to developer accidently and Freelancer support team helped me from getting money back. Although there was difficulties in their support/service without live chat because of Covid pandemic, Barry who worked for me was very responsible and kind, and exact.
He have returned money from developer to me immediately and he also solved all of other small personals issues out.
People will know and feel Freelancer site is the best place for everything.

Scam artists are getting more sophisticated, pretending to offer jobs when in reality, they're just trying to steal your banking information.
Freelancer requires users to stay on the platform, where all milestones are paid through them and no account numbers are shared with strangers over the internet. It might seem like a no-brainer but when you're hungry and worried about paying rent, almost any job offer seems like a good idea.
I'll stick with Freelancer, thank you very much.
It took some time to get our issue resolved, but at the end, all is good. I hope, eventually, freelancer.com provides a tool for client's evaluation of a SEALED contests without the need to share an access to an employer's account.
Again, thank you for working with us and for a positive resolution.
Freelancer.com is the first freelance work platform I used when I decided to start to work on my own.
Today, it is still my main source of income and the best freelance work platform I use.
Today, I received a special offer from Dana, a customer representative that politely guided me through the process until everything was done.
Thanks for making everything easy and smooth all the time.
Highly recommended!
He is a good supporter!
He explained in detail how I should deal with the dispute. Thank you very much!
It was fast and smooth transaction. The supports are really helpful they're straight to the point on how to handle my case. I thought it would take me some time so I try to response multiple time but it ended up creating new ticket I assume. I do apologize for that!
Please forward my regards to Ms/Mr. Maine, Jam and Caleb P.
Have a nice day and continue to help people at this platform.
Kevin helped in getting refund for dormant account fee. I logged in after 3 years to my account to find I have been charged US$10 per month for last so many months.
I was going to close my Freelancer account but decided to contact "Support" team anyway.
I was quite happy that Kevin refunded account dormant fees and I can continue to use Freelancer site to post my new projects.
Thanks Kevin for doing a wonderful job!
I had a problem that I did the translation in time, but the client didn't want to pay me, plus he turned off automatic billing in the beginning of our conversation. I thought he would pay me in the end, plus he asked me to make price lower which I accepted because I am a new freelancer, but no! He wanted me first to send him the translation, and then to send me money for my work, but because I saw there was some kind of deception, I didn't do what he told me. Freelancer site didn't do anything about this issue, and I reported both project and user. Such a shame!
Tip for consumers:
Be careful with working for this site. First, watch out to be paid for your work, not allowing somebody to turn off automatic billing and tracking hours of your work, because there's a chance not to be paid at all, and then, when paying is safe, send your work to a client. Appeciate your work!
Hello everybody! I had a problem with bidding on a project because a person who wanted to hire me for the project asked me to install Telegram app in order to have the interview there. I felt something's wrong and I reported an issue. A freelancer staff member Jessica B. Was very kind to me, explained me about warning signs when somebody asks you to communicate over the other platform which is against the policy of "Freelancer". The person's account and their project in which the interview should have been done via Telegram app. Was closed eventually. Feel free to contact the staff of "Freelancer". Highly recommendable to communicate with the staff of "Freelancer".
Mr. Harriet has helped me through my payment authentication and I didn't even had to wait for long. Thank you.
This is my first time using Freelancer to find help with a photoshop project. I had questions regarding my invoice. My balance showed zero after making a deposit even though I did not release the funds yet. Also, this was a one-time project with a flat rate fee and I was concerned about automatic withdrawals. I was able to get in touch with an agent fairly quickly and he answered all of my questions and concerns. Great Service--wish I used it sooner.
It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
