I definitely struggled a bit with the website and getting the invoice in (now know how to make an email into a pdf) so that's good! I definitely would recommend this site if you live outside of the UK. It definitely worked for me and the clothing came quickly from them once it was sent. They have good communication skills and are very helpful to getting you through the system. They are very reliable and for real so don't hesitate to use them. Good luck!

As soon as Forward2me shipped packages to me, the company used for delivery started sending me non stop texts. They would not deliver to my shipping address, customs had to be paid online or else packahe would not be delivered. I had to contact their customer service twice, and at the end, they disregarded my instructions to leave package out of site at back door. I won't use Forward2me again if DHL expressed is used for delivery. Poor service. Sue

I'm a long-time customer, and forward2me really excels in what they do. I rarely leave a review about a post-purchase experience on a website, but this time I felt compelled to do it because these days it's not too often that we get the level of service that they provide. I'm just used their service to buy a print in Japan and we got the package in less than a week. Hard to believe but that's what they did. Highly recommended.

The package was an Advent Calendar from John Lewis weighing around 5.7 Kg. When it arrived at Forward2Me they messaged me to say that there were 4 packages (1x10ml perfume, 1x12ml cologne, 1x Skin Care Product and the Advent Calendar. I knew nothing about the 3 small items and assumed they might be freebies from John Lewis, so I paid the extra £2 for a 'combine and repack'. When the package arrived it consisted of just the Calendar in the original John Lewis packaging. Also I was charged Total Chargeable Weight of 10.5Kg!

We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied.

I can see that we had identified the products within the beauty advent calendar as dangerous goods for shipping purposes. All beauty advent calendars that are received to us, we have to identify and input any restricted products that are within the advent calendars individually-we cant simply state beauty advent calendars as one single commodity. This will be the reason why you would have presumed there was additional items or freebies in your package.
Due to your beauty advent calendar containing restricted products, the advent calendar required a repack service prior to shipping to ensure it was packed and prepared in the required size box to comply with Dangerous goods regulations for shipping internationally. We are only accredited to ship dangerous goods with DHL or FedEx services for shipping and your package was repacked for the DHL Express service because the additional dangerous good surcharge fee with DHL service is less expensive than with FedEx.

Unfortunately the dangerous goods packaging requirements and additional surcharge fees are not established by ourselves but by the accredited couriers who each have to abide by the rules and regulations set out by International Air Transport Association. Therefore there is no negotiation on the set packaging requirements or dangerous goods surcharge fees for shipments containing beauty advent calendars that consist of products such as perfumes and we understand that the packaging requirements that we have to follow for dangerous goods shipments can cause an unavoidable increase in the overall chargeable weight and shipping prices for our customers with the courier.

We are sorry for any inconveniences.

Great way to bridge overseas purchases. I kept missing the restocks for a pair of shoes I really wanted here in Australia. I looked in UK because they had much better options, but international shipping wasn't offered. I'm so glad I found forward2me because now I have a style that's not offered here that no one else is wearing. The customer service was great and super fast to help when I got stuck with placing my first order. I found the pricing very reasonable for the express overseas DHL. Already planning another order!

It's great to see you were able to take advantage of our 50% Send it Monday discount.
You selected DHL Express as a shipping option - the package shipped on Monday and was with you on Thursday. Given the time of year we think DHL did a great job.
The DHL service is a DDU service, which means that everyone has to pay taxes and duties at the point the package hits their border - the specifics depend upon the country.
DHL send notifications to customers to allow them to pay the duties online. The vast majority of our customers prefer the convenience of this as the alternative is to drive to your house, risk that you are out and leave a note asking for a payment.
All DHLs notifications are configurable. Please feel free to forward them all and we will help you with instructions on how to switch them off or unsubscribe.

We are in the process of introducing an additional tracked courier service from our Tax Free warehouse to offer more flexibility to our customers who choose to use this warehouse for international shipping. Unfortunately we cannot yet confirm when the new courier services will be ready to go live from Guernsey but we will ensure all customers are notified as soon as we receive the green light.

Status updates were efficient and everything arrived timely and undamaged.

However, fees were much higher than estimated due to insurance and would be good to show this in the cost estimator with clear explanation of what the carriers included coverage actually is to help decide. Insurance is also more expensive than it would be buying direct from the carrier.

Qualifying goods up to the value of GBP 5,000 can be protected with the guarantee. Protect+ Guarantee is an advised extra to have against your shipment but it is not mandatory. Our policy for the cover is based on the declared purchase value of the goods from the time of shipping therefore it would be very difficult for us to reflect the associated additional costs for the Protect + cover from the pricing calculator on our website. When I was checking what forward parcel company to pick I picked yours because you had best deals and options for shipping. And really for my first package it was really affordable, around 20$ I think. But for the next one from England there were only DHL and Fedex options which each started from around 50 EUR. And my package was 48 pounds. So when they were doing customs that billed me 70$ because fees and taxes are made on both shipping and original bill for the product. Second thing is that you said that my package needed new box (repackaging) so you found biggest one you had to put A4 piece of paper like sheet that I ordered in 3 times bigger box so shipping bill will be more, even tho envelope was light and slim. Really unprofessional! For the money on your option of shipping and customs I had to pay next time I will just sit in the car and drive to the next country and by that item in person.
